North Star single and double hung windows are designed with a traditional architectural look, but not at the expense or performance. A spring loaded balance system enables the sashes to operate smoothly and tilt in for easy cleaning. Standard full or half screens are removable from the inside and triple weather-stripping prevents air infiltration allowing for year-round comfort. North Star’s single and double hung windows can also be customized with an offset meeting rail. |

Single & Double Sliding
North Star single and double sliding windows provide effective ventilation with smooth fingertip control. Double tilt-in sliders have multi directional locking shoes which eliminate the need to lift the sashes out of place for cleaning. Three-lite sliders are available for those extra wide openings with end vent or center vent operators.

Casement
Simple yet elegant – North Star’s casement windows can be used on their own or in combination with picture windows. The venting sash pivots for easy room-side cleaning. All casements are secured with progressive multi-point locking hardware by Truth™, for ease of operation and security. Triple weather-stripping ensures that outside elements are kept where they should be… outside! |

Awning & Hopper
North Star manufactures a quality line of economical hopper windows that are ideal for your basement. Open them inward to bring in the fresh air.
Outward projecting awning windows can be used effectively with picture windows. They deflect the elements while providing effective ventilation. |

North Star’s custom bay windows are factory assembled to suit your particular needs. A standard white melamine head and seat eliminates the need for painting. Energy efficiency can be improved with a factory insulated head and seat. North Star’s bay windows come with an optional oak veneer finish to provide additional beauty and warmth. Assembled walk-in bays can be created to fit into any opening and are available with fully welded brickmould. |

Bows
Like North Star’s bay windows, bow windows are factory assembled to meet your unique requirements. The need to paint is eliminated with the standard white melamine head and seat. Cold transfer is further reduced with the optional insulated head and seat. Of course, the luxury of an oak veneer finish is also available. |
